And, Jupiter’s aligned with Mars…less than 30, you might know these lyrics.  But, they
informed a generation of partiers with serious purpose that the Age of Aquarius has begun.  
Besides girlish bangs and peace loving men, what does the Age of Aquarius mean?  New
Age BS, I know better.  New, as in retro, hip hopping and sampling from old truths in new
packaging.  To confuse form with content be (as in continuously present tense) extremely
dangerous.  Read character, live with integrity, know surface but refuse to be pigeon-
holed.  

The Latest Songs On My Lunar Soundtrack

The Moon rules memory attached to feelings, and music gets us into our feelings.  Old
music, specifically old R&B, floats my lunar boat.  I make compilation CD’s.  Even if you
don’t know the lyrics, know this, living by the moon is easier when you connect to your own
rhythms.

Heartbeat Harmony encourages all of us to walk our talk.  I’m fond of telling fire signs
(well, those that observe you Leo, Aries, Sagittarians) to look at your actions, almost
always forget what you’ve said, unless it’s aligned with action.  Integrity, huh?  

Got 2 Be Down, I like the physical implications of this song title.  Cursing a lover’s name,
but still seeing, thinking and feeling lover has priority…better the horny devil you know,
yep.  Got 2 Be Down and amazing…how can we get it together?  Or is it a may we get it
together?  I feel permission seeking and safe words sit up in the trees k-i-s-s-i-n-g.  Oh, joy.

The Finest, choosing to be with someone when you are truly capable of living alone.  
Enjoying the freedom of choice that comes from being bright, hot, aware and single.  If I
had a choice, I’d always choose love is the most delusion (dumb note) of these lyrics…but
love has to be real.  OK, I’m convincing myself to stay in love with you.  I’m relatively new
to the ‘love thang’.  Not!  I want to be in love, but with nobody else, time flies when you’re
with me/goes so slow whenever you’re away…Love can be contradictory.

I’m continuing with this song commentary.  Hoping understanding reaches between and
through us.  I’ve written to music, studying to music and best of all, created love to music.  
The softer inside comes through my participation of music falling onto me.  Might as well
be in the upper room.  

For You 2 Love, a Luther staple.  Oh, how I miss him.  Fortunately, he left a large legacy of
his songs to keep us classically entertained for decades to come.  LV set a standard for
contemporary (pre hip-hop) R&B.

Smokin’ Room, Betcha’ Think of You, What’s Love Got 2 Do W/ it?, what’s love but a second
hand emotion?  Who needs a heart when it can be broken?  A most Tina signature song.  
Love is additional bonus for the instinctive physical bond.


Dedicated to all my Taurus relatives, dead or alive, or is that, dead and alive?  Whatever.  
Any and all authentic attention paid to them usually be greatly appreciated.  I use the ‘be’
verb, affectionately and with skill.  Affection excels in the hands and hearts of most Taurus
folk.  Truss a brutha…

Being a sign run by Venus and the Moon, these unique souls thrive in a loving and open
environment.  If you must err, please do it with hugs, kisses and soft words of
encouragement.  Especially this year because their ruler, Venus, looks as if she’ll be
moving backwards from the Earth’s perch from July 27-September 8, in the most
compatible earth sign of Virgo.  

My mother has finally gotten one of my secrets to successful living on this planet.  Pay
particular attention to the rhythms of the Moon…new as maiden/virgin; full as
temptress/mother; dark as crone/alien.  

Sometimes, we don’t know our karma until the commitment is made.


Here’s my first ‘out’ lunar calendar:

Right before the solar Taurus ingress (I love using the ‘appropriate’ words), hence when the
sun enter Taurus on April 20, 2007 @ 6:07am, there’s a new Moon in Aries.  The 28th degree
of Aries is the exact degree.  This alignment occurs on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 @ 6:37am
CDT.  Here the sun (spirit) conjuncts (joins) the moon (soul) aligned with Pluto
(transformation, inner work, JCPenney ‘it’s all inside’ moments) in the compatible fire sign
of Sagittarius.  Translation:  we are all looking at being the best individuals we can be,
army notwithstanding.  Be tender with your foibles and idiosyncrasies.  Live is meant to be
lived individual and with soul (period)  What others think is what others think.  That is a
major lesson of this New Moon.  We are not paying as much attention to you as you think
we are.  

Jupiter’s on the other side of this New Moon alignment in Aries.  He couches his
statements in a somewhat ‘smarmy’ trust according to Pluto, but Jupiter expands, asks for
an encore, when Pluto, although satisfied, still searches for the motivation of the
connection in the first place.  Is it any wonder that Pluto had to basically cajole, steal and
manipulate his love (possibly his only), while Jupiter had many for which to choose.  
Forego the ‘blaming the victim’ scenario, it ain’t about that.  Pluto liked being alone;
Persephone (his ‘stolen’ love) wanted to get away from an overbearing and enmeshed
mother.  

What to look for:

Aries:  new, new, newer, newest, the latest bauble or a refashioning of an old one that makes for intriguing
conversation and living.  You do not have a lifestyle, you are life personified.  Taking almost everything
personally, you show up to adore and be adored.

Taurus:  Sleep, subconscious awareness of multiple existences and realities.  Sure, you’re not one to think
metaphysically, but take a note from the Scorpion notebook:  Ask, look for the motivations behind other people’
s actions, now, before you are left behind.  Rapture, notwithstanding, it is your time to begin to shine…but only
when you give up the need to be recognized for said shining.

Gemini:  Whatever, the stoics, epicureans the ‘could be’, but probably not…let me tell you about the stars
above/man I love.  What dreams do you really want to have manifest?  Are you unable to see how the time lag
between thoughts and physical appearance works mostly in your favor?  Journals rule, especially for you.  Truss
a brutha.

Cancer:  Consider the audience before you tell the story.  If I am telling a story that I didn’t personally witness, I
must be bored with the present conversation.  An exception to this aforementioned energy could be
pedagogical.  To teach is a major goal of an older soul.  Just call it what it is, particularly if you’re translating.

Leo:  Drugs for opening to pleasure?  Drugs for accentuating pleasure?  Altered states and Neptune, lord of the
seas…these have kept my lot going for millennia.  By ‘my lot’ I mean the priests, shamans, Delphi priestesses, you
get the point.  What keeps your heart mojo alive and vital?  Philosophize on it, travel to it, whatever keeps you
open, sincere and beautiful.

Virgo:  Talking to others about your bad experiences according to some occultists will keep those bad
experiences occurring in ad finitum.  Use the this New Moon to tailor your relationship to the Infinite Source of
all mystery, magic and love buried deep within your soul.  To allow physical appearances to lure you without a
true connection to your examined instincts and motivations keep the bad date repeating (or bad life) in
perpetuity.

Libra:  As the only initiating air sign, you were born to begin new forms of relationships.  Social order, what’s
acceptable protocol between you and a peer.  An Aries New Moon tests our limits of what we expect from our
partnership.  If you find others around you creating a smoldering atmosphere, check these vibes now.  By the
next New Moon, the gloves will come off, and there won’t be any velvet covering the iron fist, that’s our iron fist.

Scorpio:  A darkness can pervade your repressive mechanisms at this time of year.  As Persephone returns to the
upper world and her mother, Ceres, meets her, the flowers bloom, the bees buzz (what’s left of them) and the
days lengthen, you hanker to submit to your urges in ways you fear at other times of year.  Intensifying these
impulses is none other than Mars in Pisces in your very compatible sign of Pisces.  To flow means light; to
repress means dark (and stuck).

Sagittarius:  If you doubt love, are you not in love?  Can it be that simple?  Doubt negates the validity of your
feelings?  Is doubt that powerful?  Probably, when it immobilizes your actions.  Passion trumps (and triumphs)
over doubt, so does self-actualization.  Oh, and remember knowledge.  An Aries New Moon moves you in the
powerful position of traversing a path that has heart, love, and most of all little to no doubt.

Capricorn:  The foundations of your need for privacy are being examined now.  Once you really sense what
makes you feel good, you can meet your responsibilities with less anxiety, and simply relax.  There are certain
inalienable rights, right?  Privacy (which is not specifically said in the US Constitution) is one of them.  Take this
right merge it with the right of joy.

Aquarius:  Sometimes we have to make like a computer and reboot ourselves, our minds, even our feelings.  
Suspicious and gregarious, jaded and wise, you realize you are a complex mixture of thoughts, conjecture and
innovation.  However, until you face, admit and solve some ghosts of the past you’ll think you’re a little mad, but
not in your best way…

Pisces:  A straight line between past and future may be the present, that you live guilt free with Ben and Jerry’s
Ice Cream nearby.  Some indulgence (and escapism) is advised as long as you seek the real world as it is.  
Quantum physics has its wave and particles or wavicles, however, you need to be grounded in a routine that
makes your heart grow faster than your head.  There is no such thing as objective reality; we are all participants.
