The What
Yes, just to say the word and your mind goes back to medieval times. You begin to imagine
roots, entrails, tarot cards read by gypsies, bones, and even star charts hand drawn by the
king´s astrologers. Divination is defined as “the practice of seeking to foretell future events or
discover hidden knowledge by occult or supernatural means’ And, “intuitive perception;
instinctive foresight.’ Well, for this web site, I am more interested in the second part of the
definition. I find the least fascinating aspect of astrology is the foretelling of the future. That
may seem strange coming from a professional astrologer who answers questions about
people´s future. Well, I´m not Miss Cleo, nor are there smoke and mirrors. Yes, clients do talk
(and refer) me based on my ability to use astrology, tarot, I Ching and numerology to foretell
the future. But, not without asking some pertinent questions about their past. I remind all of
my clients in one form or another that: THE POINT OF POWER IS IN THE PRESENT
MOMENT. (If you´ve heard of Seth, then you´ve heard this statement before...)
The Why
There are many variables involved in the creation and manifestation of your reality. Astrology
and its use through the planets is a great place start, sort of like which car you drive will make
a difference in how fast you´re likely to drive. Your birth chart is similar to the chosen car and
the way the planets continue to move is territory your car will travel.
Free will or fate? Both/and, from the soul´s perspective, all is chosen. You chose the body,
parents, birth order and the first seven years of circumstances. Not that there cannot be some
‘accidents´. Being on the physical plane there are some mishaps, while simultaneously,
‘there are no coincidences´. It is not for the intellect to decipher; it is for the soul. It may not
always be fair, but it does balance out in the end, the end of your incarnations.
The tools for divination are numerous and they will continue to increase as we move into
Aquarius Age. The group will be the ‘savior´. Acting locally while thinking globally will
become a mantra of this age (which really isn´t new, but a resurgence of old mysterious stuff
to re-member). With the Internet and the proliferation of knowledge and information (after all,
Aquarius is an air sign), we all can no longer say “I don't know.’ We can say “I didn´t care’ or “I
wasn´t interested’ or “Really’.
The access to competent support to aid you in divining your own internal nature has grown
exponentially. It´s up to you to take the next step in your own spiritual growth, that is, to tap into
your own intuition, instinctive foresight. Good work includes validating what a tarot card, a
rune, a planetary transit means in your own life, how each manifests in the physical world. As
it is becoming widely known, “We are spiritual beings having human experiences.’ Divination
