Full Moons illuminate polarities aka binaries. They last five (5) days. Two days before the day and two (2) after.
Leo Sun expresses what's personal to you. Aquarius is made of the audience, family and our team that witnesses and responds to our experience, our expression.
Neither sign is known for its humility. Pride can lay the groundwork for their fall. Intellectual 'know it all' Aquarius or loyalty to their actions and self expressive Leo- -these usually forward thinking individuals must learn to discern their personal truths and preferences are not universal.
With collective and systemtic power of Pluto in Capricorn in a humility inducing angle to Mars in Virgo---over reaction to imagined personal slights are real this Full Moon. Adding fuel to this fire of vanity is a retrograde Venus in Leo. Both Leo and Virgo have a penchant for drama---sure, Leo's flair is seen---but Virgo's is felt.
Mars---as our toddler planet and how we penetrate another's energy field--in Virgo already leans towards BDSM. Pluto demands honesty about the motivation behind your behaviors. Like a Cosmic lawyer, Pluto stipulates 'ignorance is no excuse'. Passive aggressive, yes? But, this lord of death (Saturn's the other Daarth Vader) is in mature and integrity inducing Capricorn. Children and those who have no ill will may be spared Pluto's humiliation, but us grown ass folx ought to know better.
Know what precisely?
How to listen to your chosen audience.
How to read a room.
How to sense intuitively what others truly mean by their words.
How to ask privately for what improvements you seek from others and be willing to make some self improvements too.
How to pay attention to the evolutionary and universal lessons beyond attaching to the pleasure and pain cycle.
Aquarius is one of the three and a half (3.5) human signs on the circle of animals called 'the zodiac'. Virgo (The Virgin), Gemini (The Twins) and Sagittarius (The Centaur/half-human & half-horse) round out this selective group with The Water Bearer. Whenever there's a personal energy (Sun, Moon, Rising, Mercury, Venus and Mars) seeking its source from Aquarius you can bet that there's a detachment, an impersonal idealism that reeks of the 'sacrifice the 1000 souls for the 100000'. When the Leo heart is left out of the Aquarian equation, you get these kind of logical fallacies. Often given loads of charisma, The Water Bearer, live for their followers, their identities is founded upon the quantity of those who have been cast out from their families, religions or communities. These people symbolically drink the Kool aid of believing in their lack of worth or identity. We now call them 'true believers'. We need the large communal vision of a shared future based upon ideals of equality, individuality and honesty (Aquarius). We need Leo's loyalty to personal passion and vision from the heart. Virgo Mars and Capricorn Pluto give us the ability to listen to both of these polarities. As the Aquarian Age grows in influence, we will all evolve to place where other people's personal preferences (that have legalized be that abortion, same sex marriage or marijuana) will not trigger us (as much, if not at all).
If we communicate where we share common ground and have shared ideals of sacrifice and service, we can manage to bring our individual A-game to every relationship in our lives, including with ourselves. Submissiveness is not the same as weakness.
Submissiveness is like water as Lao-Tzu described it in the Tao-Te-Ching. "Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong".
Mars (and Pallas Athene) in Virgo empowers us to submit to our higher ideals.
Listen to this song (that came on right before I started writing this blog https://youtu.be/4Yngy2TjfO0 the chorus hook suggests looking into your heart (Leo) with a positive mind (Aquarius) & taking self-inventory (Virgo)---this tune can inspire us to see the evolutionary lessons behind any relationship we have that we feel is unequal and untenable. Once you apply Virgo's analytical abilities of choosing to see what's behind the pain instead of attaching to the pain, you can express a wholeness you've scarcely been able to imagine. Respect was the next song, go figure, huh?
