These are magical times. Each lunar month before a New Moon, She gives us a glimpse into our future. Time is not linear. The Moon always changes, but stays the same. Allow your right brain to bring the images and stories, moving beyond time & space to know what's true for you---moment to moment, yes? Access your own 'man in the moon'---the male within and born of the female.
When we move from a waning Dark Moon (what I affectionately call ‘an old crusty Moon’) into the alluring spontaneity of a New Moon, we can wax with hope and expectation in each successive present moment. Collectively, we can take off the dark handkerchief around our eyes, thereby ending incessant complaining about how dark and bitter life has become. We shine light on how we’ve accepted and proliferated the victim story. After all, Capricorn represents the season of the return of the light (days getting longer). Let’s look at some numbers to help us bridge the waning Dark Moon to the waxing New Moon, ok?

How many had the thought of ‘I'm not good with Math?’ Or ‘this is an astrological blog’. What's going on?
Nines represent the quality of material completion. How we end situations and relationships through allowing Universal power to use us. Nine times three equals 27 (2+7=9). Anytime Nine is multiplied by any number it reduces to itself. From an ego viewpoint that's power. From our soul's unifying perspective, it demonstrates how energies and matter are interchangeable--how certain qualities remind us, even conspire to keep us feeling connected.
2024 (2+0+2+4) as a Universal Eight Year is going to go out of its way to remind us that ‘we are the world’ or ‘we're in it together’. Eights (then number before nine) have the quality of energy and matter as interchangeable--together but separate like a Venn Diagram.
Our January 2024 as a Nine Month builds a natural transition to February.

These Twos represent our left brained and intellectual selves trying to figure things out. That’s the rub--our ability to separate and categorize will not work. Capricorn, as an energy, seeks to prove its existence through external validation---career, reputation and management of resources. Choosing to strike a balance between external drives and inner motivations becomes central to this starting earth sign. The Twos in their astrological make up for 2024 accentuate this. The polarity of our egos can locate equilibrium in the sign found 180 degrees (6 months) away. Cancer starts summer; Capricorn begins winter (in the Northern Hemisphere). They are as far apart from each other as they can be. They need each other for external completion. However, once they realize that each contains each other’s energy through conscious intention, they can relax and enjoy life. That’s the essence of a ‘two’.
