We’ve all heard the phrase--’It takes a village’. The second part of the quote says ‘to raise a child’. Or do you prefer ‘I am my brother’s or sister’s keeper’? Can I get an amen for a ‘we are the world’? The umoja/unity that these statements inspire is felt. We can have all the plans in our minds, but if our hearts are not committed nothing happens, and if it does, it is temporary and/or incremental.
